On February 1st, BET Networks aired it’s 2010 BET Honors program. Among several honorees such as Queen Latifah and Sean P. Diddy Combs, Whitney Houston received a special tribute performance by Kim Burrell. Her introduction, made by Superstar Neo, stated that Whitney considers Burrell’s voice to be the greatest on the planet. While her vocal performance was insatiable, her uncanny personality and her new look arrested the entire audience.

Kim Burrell BET Honors 2010 Video of her performance of I Believe In You and Me, is a tribute to Whitney Houston’s 3rd Annual Awards Exhibition honored 1st February 2010. The music legend was one of those honors at Warner Theater January 16, 2010 in Washington, DC. Gabrielle Union with the host.

Kim Burrell took the stage in a couture gown by Carolina Herrera and diamonds by Gucci. Whitney Houston stood at the front of the stage during Kim’s entire performance, and the crowd’s awe and praises for Kim’s voice and her new look cemented the night as a rebirth for Ms. Burrell.

Beyonce Knowles, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift only won most of the awards at the 52nd annual Grammy Awards last night.  They shared the stage with a public appearance by Prince and Paris Jackson, who accepted a lifetime achievement award for their late father Michael.

Beyonce lights up the stage at the 52nd annual Grammys, where she racked up six awards that’s more wins in a single night than any other female artist in history.

Over 40 celebrities are expected to participate in the telethon : Hope For Haiti Now: A Global Benefit For Earthquake Relief. Of course, earthquake relief in Haiti was the reason for and inspiration behind this program.

Hope for Haiti is definitely one of the largest telethon held a lot of perfomers lineup of this size and level of talent.

Performers annonced for the show are Wyclef Jean, Jennifer Hudson, Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder and Rihanna and some more. Performances will take place in New York, Los Angeles, London and Haiti during the 2-hour special on MTV.
